TISSCO & HUGHES Shower Meeting

Teyseer Industrial Supplies & Services Company wll (TISSCO) jointly with M/s.Hughes Safety Showers of UK conducted an orientation programme on the applications of Safety Showers for the Oil, Gas, Petro chemical and the General Industry on the 14th of May,2008 at the Regency Hall, Doha.

TISSCO which is the Industrial Supplies and Services Company of the Teyseer Group is the exclusive dealers for Hughes Safety Showers in Qatar. Hughes Safety Showers are one of the world leaders in Emergency Showers and Eye Baths.

Last evening’s programme was the second of the type conducted jointly by these two companies in Qatar and was meant to increase the awareness of such emergency procedures and systems among the Industry leaders, Service and Health care Departments etc as well as the general public in the country.

The most informative and enlightening sessions were conducted in a most professional manner by a team of senior executives from the Hughes Safety Showers namely Mr. Paul Darlington the Export Sales Manager; Mr. Michael Hall the Marketing Manager and Mr. Shaik Sayeed the Sales Manager for the Middle East.

Detailed insight was provided into the different types of eyewash, face wash and emergency shower systems available with Hughes and their detailed application. Outdoor emergency showers as well as the laboratory range were also highlighted. The presentation also covered the applications of Portable decontamination Showers for use by the civil and military fire services, chemical & petrochemical industries, armed services and the civil defence.

Organised by the Safety & Security Products Division of the TISSCO, the presentation was largely attended by executives from the oil & gas sector, industry leaders, technocrats from the construction sector, the civil defence, the police and the Hamad Medical Corporation.
